when it starts to snow lightly and you just can't figure out if it is snow, or ash falling from the sky that has been carried on the breeze from some huge trash fire somewhere...

We had 14 inches of snow today so I was thinking of you! I read through the post prior to this and understand completely. I often deal with the bad kids in the USA and have found that if one wants to learn I will invest my time with him and the rest can rot if they choose. That sounds harsh but you cannot teach someone who does not want to learn. Enjoy the few you can reach - enjoy life's adventure there.
